How to Track Client Referrals*

Overview

Keeping track of where your business is coming from is very important.  This tutorial will explain how to track referrals in StudioCloud for clients and prospective clients as well as marketing campaigns.

How to Track New Client Referrals

  1. Click on the Clients component
  2. Click the Clients tab
  3. Create or find and edit a client, prospective client, or lead
  4. Click the Referral Options button and select
    1. Client Referred By Marketing Campaign - If you select this option then you will need to select the marketing campaign that the client came from.
    2. Client  Referred By Another Client - If you select this option then you will need to select the client that was the referral
    3. Client Referred By Another Source - If you select this option you will be able to type in the referral source
  5. Click the Save button

How to View a Referral Summary

  1. Click on the Clients component
  2. Click on the Reports tab
  3. Click on the View Referral Summary button

Details included in the Referral Summary

The referral summary includes the following features

  • Tracking the various types of referrals and the total number of clients referred by each referral
  • Tracking the total sales, total income, and outstanding balance for each referral
  • Tracking the total booked sessions/events/appointments for each referral
  • Tracking the total invoices and payments for each referral
  • A list of all of the clients from each referral
  • A list of all of the sessions/events/appointments from each referral
  • A list of all of the Invoices from each referral
