Problems Installing, Logging In, or Syncing StudioCloud

Overview

If you're having minor problems getting started with StudioCloud, this tutorial will help.  Please read below for a resolution to the most common issues.

Verify That Your Computer is Compatible with Adobe Air

Adobe Air runs on Intel Mac's, Windows 2003, XP, Vista, 7 and 10. PowerPC Mac's are not supported. Click here for a detailed list of operating systems and computers that Adobe Air supports.

Click here if you get the error message"This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which is no longer supported. Please contact the application author for an updated version"

If you get the message "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." please go to http://get.adobe.com/air/ and download the latest version of Adobe Air.

Problems Installing, Downloading, or Updating StudioCloud?

  • if you get the error message "The Application cannot be installed because the installer has been mis-configured.  Please contact the application author for assistance."
  • if you get the error message, "This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which is no longer supported. Please contact the application author for an updated version."
  • if you get the error message, "The certificate of the installed app fails to match either the signature or migration signature of the AIR file"
  • if you get the error message, "The certificate of the installed app fails to match either the signature or migration signature of the AIR file"
  • if you get the error message, "The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author."
