How to Add Debug File to Adobe Air Folder for Troubleshooting

Overview

This tutorial will show you how to add a debug file to your computer. This will allow our StudioCloud technicians to quickly track down the root causes of minor glitches in StudioCloud. 

Mac Operating System

  1. Go to the Applications Folder
  2. Right-click on StudioCloud 3.0
  3. Choose Show Package Contents
  4. Go to the Contents Folder
  5. Click on Resources
  6. Choose META-INF
  7. Click on AIR
  8. Download the following file: http://studiocloud.com/debug
  9. Drag and Drop the downloaded Debug file into the Air Folder. 
  10. Close the Windows. 
  11. Open StudioCloud and log in. 

Windows Operating System

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Find the StudioCloud 3.0 program
  3. Right-click and choose Properties
  4. Click on the Open File Location button
  5. Open the META-INF folder
  6. Open the AIR folder 
  7. Download the following file: http://studiocloud.com/debug
  8. Drag and drop the downloaded debug file into the AIR Folder.
  9. Close all open windows
  10. Open StudioCloud and log in

Now, the next time the error report opens, you must submit it in order for our StudioCloud technicians to receive the new information and allow them to fix the problem
