Overview

This support article explains how to perform a speed test.  A StudioCloud representative may ask you to do this to determine issues that may arise when syncing data.

How to Perform a Speed Test

1. Open a browser
2. Go to http://speedtest.net/
3. You should see a button labeled BEGIN TEST with a map.  On the left hand side of the map is a zoom bar.  Click the - button at the bottom of the zoom bar until you can see the northwestern coast of the United States of America.  Click one of the dots on the northwestern coast to begin the test
4. Once test test is completed click the button labeled SHARE THIS RESULT
5. Click the COPY button to copy the URL into your computer's clipboard
6. Then paste this link into an email to support@studiocloud.com
