Mobile App Interface

This tutorial explains how to access the mobile apps and use the ios, android, and web based mobile app.

What types of mobile apps are available?

StudioCloud offers 3 different types of mobile apps

Mobile App Overview

This mobile interface allows you to access the following: 

  • Clients, Prospective Clients, and Leads
  • Calendar
  • TimeCard (Requires EmployeeBoost Subscription)
  • Mileage Tracking
  • CloudForms (Requires CloudForms Subscription)

Employee Security Options

StudioCloud supports the following security options listed below.

  • Employees can be locked out of mobile features entirely based on security roles.
  • Employees can be locked out of mobile features entirely based on ip address
  • Employees can be locked out of specific mobile features such as Clients, Calendar, Timecard, etc. based on security roles.

Subscription Requirements

Free accounts will not be able to login to the mobile interface and the desktop program at the same time.

Paid subscribers can login to one mobile interface per user account.

How to Find a Client

Clients are not shown in the list of clients until a search has been made. At least 3 letters are required before a search will be conducted.

  1. Select the Menu option
  2. Select the Clients menu item
  3. Search for and select the desired client

How to Enter a New Client

  1. Select the Menu option
  2. Select the Clients menu item
  3. Select the Actions menu option
  4. Select the desired type of client to create

How to Edit a Client

  1. Select the Menu option
  2. Select the Clients menu item
  3. Search for and select the desired client
  4. Select the Actions menu option
  5. Select the Edit menu item

How to Delete a Client

  1. Select the Menu option
  2. Select the Clients menu item
  3. Search for and select the desired client
  4. Select the Actions menu option
  5. Select the Delete menu item

How to Send an Email to a Client

When you send an email through this web interface it will open up the default app on your device for sending emails and should have the subject line and body of the message pre-populated.  However, this technology is limited to only support plain text messages so any advanced formatting in the email templates will be discarded.

  1. Select the Menu option
  2. Select the Clients menu item
  3. Search for and select the desired client or create a new client
  4. Select the Actions menu option
  5. Select the Email menu item
  6. Select the desired email template
    1. Once you select the desired template it will open the personalized email in your default email client

How to Send a Personalized Cloudform To a Client

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Clients menu item
  • Search for and select the desired client or create a new client
  • Select the Actions menu option
  • Select the CloudForm menu item
  • Select the desired CloudForm
    1. Once you select the desired template it will open the personalized email in your default email client


    How to Send a Contract To a Client

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Clients menu item
  • Search for and select the desired client or create a new client
  • Select the Actions menu option
  • Select the Contract menu item
  • Select the desired Contract
    1. Once you select the desired template it will open an email with a link to the contract in your default email client


    How to View A Clients Contracts

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Clients menu item
  • Search for and select the desired client or create a new client
  • Select the Actions menu option
  • Select the View Contract menu item
  • How to View Your Agenda

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Calendar menu item
  • Select the desired day either by clicking the Next or Prev buttons or by clicking the date in between them and selecting the desired day.
  • How to Schedule a New Session, Event, or Appointment

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Calendar menu item
  • Select the New button
  • Enter the desired information and click the Save button

  • Select the Menu option

  • Select the desired session, event or appointment
  • In the View event window click the pencil icon in the top right to edit it.

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Calendar menu item
  • Select the desired session, event or appointment
  • In the View event window click the pencil icon in the top right to delete it.
  • How to Open A New CloudForms In A New Browser tab

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the CloudForms menu item
  • Search for and select the desired CloudForm
  • The CloudForm will open in a new browser tab
  • How to use the Time Card

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Timecard menu item
  • Select either the Clock In or Clock out button
  • How to use the Mileage Tracking at the start of the trip

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Mileage Tracking menu item
  • Enter the Odometer Start
  • Select the Save button
  • How to use the Mileage Tracking at the end of the trip

    Mileage Tracking is only available if the employee that is logged in is setup as a driver.  Click here for details how to create a driver in StudioCloud.

  • Select the Menu option
  • Select the Mileage Tracking menu item
  • Enter the Odometer End
  • Enter any desired notes
  • Select the Save button
