Import Orders/Invoices From ProSelect/XML*
Overview
This tutorial will show you the steps to import an order or invoice from ProSelect. For more information regarding proselect click here. Note: This is the old way of importing orders from ProSelect. StudioCloud has a new seemless integration. More details are available by clicking here.
How to Export Order From ProSelect
- Open ProSelect
- Add Items to an order
- Select the "Export Orders" option under the Orders file menu.
- Select the "Standard XML" option next to the "Export To:" field
- Click the "Export Now" button.
How to Import Order into StudioCloud As A New Invoice
- Open and login to StudioCloud
- Go to the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Invoices tab
- Click on the Invoices button
- Click the Options button and select the Import Options option and then select the Import Invoices From ProSelect option
- In the Import XML Settings window select whether you want to use the ProSelect Image Name or the Image Location when the file is imported
- The Ordered Image (ProSelect Image Name) will show the name that proselect has given the image. Typically, it is Print_1.jpg, Print_2.jpg, etc.
- The Original Image (Image Location) Option will show the original image location and name.
- Find the file on your computer
- Click the Open button
- Once you see the invoice window make any necessary changes
- Click the Save button
How to Import Order into StudioCloud Into An Existing Invoice
Please note that with this option the client is not imported since the invoice already has a client assigned to it.
- Open and login to StudioCloud
- Go to the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Invoices tab
- Click the edit button on the desired invoice
- Click the More Actions button and select the Import Items From ProSelect/XML
- In the Import XML Settings window select whether you want to use the ProSelect Image Name or the Image Location when the file is imported
- The Ordered Image (ProSelect Image Name) will show the name that proselect has given the image. Typically, it is Print_1.jpg, Print_2.jpg, etc.
- The Original Image (Image Location) Option will show the original image location and name.
- Find the file on your computer
- Click the Open button
- Once you see the invoice window make any necessary changes
- Click the Save button
