How to Export Bookkeeping Accounts From StudioCloud

Overview

Studiocloud can export bookkeeping data so that it can be imported into other 3rd party programs such as QuickBooks. This can be useful for people who need to send accounting or bookkeeping information to other consultants who do not use StudioCloud.

 

How to Export Bookkeeping Accounts From StudioCloud

  1. Go to the Bookkeeping component
  2. Click on the Accounts tab
  3. Click on the Accounts menu bar button
  4. Select which account(s) you would like to export by clicking in the checkbox next to the name. 
  5. Click on the Export Options menu option
  6. Select which format you'd like to export the data.
    1. Export Selected Accounts To A CSV File
      1. This option will export out the data as a csv file that can be imported into a spreadsheet program
    2. Export Selected Accounts To A QuickBooks IIF File
      1. This option will export out the data as an IIF file that can be imported into Quickbooks
    3. Export Selected Accoutns To An OFX file
      1. This option will export out the data as an OFX file that can be imported into most non-quickbooks accounts software solutions
    4. Export Selected Accounts To A QIF file
      1. This option will export ou tthe data as a QIF file that can be imported into QuickBooks
  7. Select the desired time frame
  8. Select the location where you would like to save the exported file
