How To Setup Your Default Tax Rate And Tax Profiles
Overview
This tutorial explains how to setup a default tax as well as additional tax profiles How to Setup the Default Tax Rate
- Click on the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Settings tab
- Click the Manage Invoice and Tax Settings button
- Enter the default tax rate
- Click the Save button
How to Create/Edit a Tax Profile
If you charge more then one tax rate then you can setup a tax profile to quickly switch between tax rates. This tutorial explains how to do that.
- Click on the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Settings tab
- Click on the Manage Tax Profiles button
- click the New Tax Profile button or Find and edit the tax profile you want to edit
- Enter the Name and Description for this profile and enter each tax Name and Value
- Click the Save button.
How to Switch to a Tax Profile from the Invoice
If you charge more then one tax rate then you can setup a tax profile to quickly switch between tax rates. This tutorial explains how to do that. - Create or edit an invoice
- Click on the edit icon that is between the Tax and tax field
- Selected the desired tax profile
- Click the Apply Tax button
