How to Cancel/Uncancel an Event

Overview

When you want to keep record of an event for historical purposes but you do not want to see the event on your calendar or send automated emails for this event you can use the Cancel functionality.  The instructions below will help you manage your cancellations.

How to Cancel an Event/Session

  1. Click on the Calendar component
  2. Find an edit the event you want to cancel
    1. You can use the graphical calendar, agenda or scheduler views to find and edit events
  3. Click the Actions button
  4. Click the Cancel Event option
  5. Input any notes you want to include about why the event has been cancelled and click the Yes button to confirm the cancellation

How to Access the Event Canceled Report

The event cancelled report does a breakdown of all of the cancelled sessions within a specific time frame.

  1. Click on the Calendar component
  2. Click on the Reports tab
  3. Click the Canceled Event Report button

How to Uncancel an Event/Session using the Event Canceled Report

  1. Click on the Calendar component
  2. Click on the Reports tab
  3. Click the Canceled Event Report button
  4. Adjust the time frame so you can find the event you want to uncancel
  5. Edit the event you want to uncancel
  6. Click the Actions button
  7. Click the Uncancel Event option
  8. Click the Yes button to confirm that you want to uncancel the event.

How to Uncancel an Event/Session from the Agenda

  1. Click on the Calendar component
  2. Click on the Agenda button
    1. There is no way to view cancelled events from the graphical calendar
  3. Click the Filter Options button and then select Show Cancelled Events
  4. Edit the event you want to uncancel
  5. Click the Actions button
  6. Click the Uncancel Event option
  7. Click the Yes button to confirm that you want to uncancel the event
