Import Products and Services from a CSV File

Overview

This tutorial explains how to import products or services from a CSV into StudioCloud.

CSV Columns

The csv columns should be ordered as follows:

  • Column 1: Product or Service Code or Bar Code (Optional)
    • This is a short code that you can type in to add the product/service to the invoice or it is a longer bar code that can be scanned with a bar code scanner. This column can be left blank.
  • Column 2: Product or Service Name (Required)
    • This is the product or service name
  • Column 3: Product or Service Description (Optional)
    • This is a description of the product or service. This column can be left blank.
  • Column 4: Product or Service Price (Required)
    • This is the product or service price
  • Column 5: Product or Service Cost (Optional)
    • This is the cost of the product or service. This column can be left blank.

How to Import Products and Services from a CSV File Into StudioCloud

  1. Click on the Point of Sale component
  2. Click on the Settings tab 
  3. Click on the Manage Price List button
  4. Click the Import menu option
  5. Click on the Import Products from CSV or click on the Import Services from CSV menu item
