How to Use the Time Card Manager

This tutorial explains how to use the time card manager.

Who Should Use The Time Card Manager

The main time tracking table contains a list of dates, times, and hours that a user (employee) has tracked. The timecard manager should be used by a manager to track employees time, make changes to employee entries, as well as print out reports. Employees should use the timecard program to clock in and clock out.

How To Open the Time Card Manager Window

You can access the time card manager by going to the following location.

  1. Click on the Cloud Services component
  2. Click on the EmployeeBoost tab
  3. Click the Timecard Manager button

How to View Time Card Entries for Specific Employees

  1. Open the Timecard Manager window by using the instructions above
  2. Select the Employee Name from the Available Columns table
  3. Click the Load TimeCard Entries button

How to Create or Edit a Time Card Entry from the TimeCard Manager

  1. Open the Timecard Manager window by using the instructions above
  2. Click the New Time Entry button on the bottom right or find and edit the desired time card entry
  3. Enter information into the New Time Card Entry form
  4. Click the Save button

How to Create a Time Card Report

To run various reports for employees follow the instructions below

  1. Open the Timecard Manager window by using the instructions above
  2. Click on the Export Options menu
  3. Select the desired report

How to Track Time in the Mobile App

Please note, the Timecard option in the mobile app is only available for EmployeeBoost accounts

  1. Tap the Menu button
  2. Tap the Timecard option
  3. On the timecard page you will have two options Clock In and Clock Out
    1. Click the Clock In button to open a new timecard entry
    2. If you have an open timecard (i.e., you have clocked in already either in the desktop or the mobile app) then you will be able to add notes and click Clock Out
