Export your StudioCloud Calendar to Outlook*
Overview
This tutorial explains how to add an automatically updating view only calendar to outlook of either the entire StudioCloud calendar or just a subset of StudioClouds calendar based on employees, locations, equipment or calendar type.
DisclaimerVersions of Outlook prior to Outlook 2007 do not support internet calendars and, as a result, the StudioCloud calendar can not be viewed in those versions of Outlook. Outlook 2016 for the Mac does not support internet calendars although it does now support direct syncing with Google Calendars. You will need to copy and paste the ics link from the tutorial above into outlook using the instructions below.
How to Export Your StudioCloud Calendar to Outlook On The Web- Open The Outlook Calendar in a browser
- Click the Add Calendar menu option
- Click the From Internet option
- Paste the StudioCloud ICS link into the Link To the calendar text field
- Enter in the calendar name
- Click the Save button
How to Export Your StudioCloud Calendar to Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016- Open Outlook
- Click the Calendar icon in the bottom left corner of the program
- Click the Open Calendar button
- Click the From Internet option
- Paste the StudioCloud ICS link into the New Internet Calendar Subscription popup
- Click the Yes button to confirm that you want to "Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates?"
- A new calendar named "Untitled" should be added to the Other Calendars folder. Right click the "Untitled" calendar and click the Properties option
- Change the name to "StudioCloud" or to a unique name that you can identify in the future
How to Export your StudioCloud Calendar to Outlook 2007- Open Outlook 2007
- Click the Tools menu option
- Click the Account Settings option
- Click the Internet Calendar tab in the Account Settings window
- Click the New button
- Paste the StudioCloud ICS link into the New Internet Calendar Subscription popup
- Change the "Folder Name" from ICSFeed to "StudioCloud" or to a unique name that you can identify in the future.
- Click the OK button
- Click the Close button
- Go to the Calendars section of Outlook
- You should see your calendar either under "My Calendars" or "Other Calendars
