Importing Vendors From Successware

Overview

This tutorial will give you the steps to export your vendors from Successware and then import them into StudioCloud. 

How to Export Vendors from Successware

  1. Go to People option on the menu bar and select List Clients
  2. Select to export the vendor contacts. Set the clients, relations, and prospects to do not export.
  3. Click the "Export" button in the toolbar
  4. Select the client list you want to export from the options offered.
  5. In the "Export To" field select the "File" option
  6. In the "Export As" field select "Tab Delimited Text"
  7. Click the "Set Fields To Export" button and move fields from the list on the left to the list on the right.
    1. Please note that all of the items must be moved from the left to the right and that they must all be in the exact same order after moving them from the left to the right.
  8. Select the "Place quotes around field values containing commas"
  9. Click the "Export" button and tell the program where to save your file
  10. Open the file in Excel or another spreadsheet program and save it as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file

How to Import The Vendor Information from Successware

  1. Open and login to StudioCloud
  2. Go to the Point of Sale Component
  3. Click the settings tab
  4. Click the Manage Vendors button.
  5. Click the Import Options followed by the menu item "Import Vendors"
  6. In the Import Vendors window select the import options followed by the menu item "Import From Successware File"
  7. Find the successware exported file
  8. Click Open
  9. Click the Save button
