How to Use CloudAlerts for Lead Created Messages

Overview

This tutorial explains how to setup CloudAlert Emails and Text Messages to be sent a specific time after a new lead is created.

    How to Open a New CloudAlert Email Window

    1. Click on the Cloud Services component
    2. Click on the CloudAlerts tab
    3. Click on the Manage CloudAlert Emails button
    4. Click the New CloudAlert Email button or edit an already existing one

    How to Customize The Email CloudAlert For Leads

    1. Open the CloudAlert Email Window using the instructions above
    2. Enter the name for the CloudAlert
      1. An example name could be "Lead Follow Up Emails" or "Lead Follow Up Text Message"
    3. Select Lead Creation CloudAlert from the Select Type of CloudAlert Type combo box
    4. Select the number of hours or days after the client is created that you want the email or text message to be sent
    5. Select the desired email template
    6. Click on the Email Recipients tab
    7. Click on the desired recipients
      1. To have the email automatically sent to the lead you will need to click the Email Customer(s) checkbox
      2. ProTip: If you want to view the messages that are being sent to customers select the Specific Email Address checkbox and enter your email address. You will also receive all of the emails that are sent to the customer

    1. Click on the Cloud Services component
    2. Click on the CloudAlerts tab
    3. Click on the Manage CloudAlert Text Messages button
    4. Click the New CloudAlert Text Message button or edit an already existing one

    How to Customize The Email CloudAlert For Leads

    1. Open the CloudAlert Text Message Window using the instructions above
    2. Enter the name for the CloudAlert
      1. An example name could be "Lead Follow Up Emails" or "Lead Follow Up Text Message"
    3. Select Lead Creation CloudAlert from the Select Type of CloudAlert Type combo box
    4. Select the number of hours or days after the client is created that you want the email or text message to be sent
    5. Select the desired text message template
    6. Click on the SMS Text Message Recipients tab
    7. Click on the desired recipients
      1. To have the email automatically sent to the lead you will need to click the Text Message Customer(s) checkbox
      2. ProTip: If you want to view the messages that are being sent to customers select the Specific Cell Phone Number Address checkbox and enter your cell phone. You will also receive all of the emails that are sent to the customer
