This tutorial explains how to take a screen shot of your StudioCloud program.

How to Take a Screen Shot Anywhere In The StudioCloud Program

You can take a screen shot anywhere in the StudioCloud program by holding down the ctrl/control key while clicking the s key

  1. Hold down the 'ctrl' key on Windows or the 'control' key on Mac
  2. Push the 's' key
  3. Click the 'Send' button in the window that pops up

How to Take a Screen Shot From The Login Page

  1. Click the Need Help menu option at the bottom of the screen
  2. Click Send Screen Shot To StudioCloud Support menu item

How to Take a Screen Shot After Logging In

  1. Click the Actions Menu option at the bottom of the screen
  2. Click on the Support menu option
  3. Click Send Screen Shot To StudioCloud Support menu item

How to Take a Screen Shot On Mac

  1. Go to Applications > Utilities  and open up the program called Grab
  2. From the Capture option in the file menu select the Screen option
  3. Follow the on screen instructions
  4. You should now see a picture of what you see on your screen
  5. Save the file by going to the File menu option and selecting "Save" or "Save As"
  6. If you are working with a studiocloud rep over live chat send the image over live chat
  7. After you have saved the image send it as an attachment to the email address given to you in your communication with the StudioCloud Support Team

How to Take a Screen Shot On Windows

  1. Hit the Control and Print Screen (sometimes abbreviated as Ctrl and PrtSc) buttons at the same time
  2. Open up Microsoft Paint by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories and opening the program named Paint
  3. Once Paint has opened paste the screen capture into the program by going to the Edit file menu and selecting the Paint option
  4. Save the file by going to the File menu option and selecting "Save" or "Save As"
  5. If you are working with a studiocloud rep over live chat send the image over live chat
  6. After you have saved the image send it as an attachment to the email address given to you in your communication with the StudioCloud Support Team
