Reset StudioCloud Database

Overview

This tutorial will explain how to reset your database. Resetting your database is a rare occurrence and should only happen when instructed by a StudioCloud technician. When you reset your database StudioCloud will erase all of the information stored on your computer. This is button is usually only used if a local computer has become corrupted.

 

How to Reset your Database from the Login Screen

  1. Click the Need Help? menu button on the bottom right of the program
  2. Click the Technical Support menu option
  3. In the Technical Support window click the Reset StudioCloud Local Database button
  4. A prompt will open up warning you that the data will be lost.  If you are sure you want to reset your database click the Yes button
  5. StudioCloud will then automatically quit

How to Reset your Database from the Settings Component

  1. Click on the Settings component
  2. Click the Technical Support button
  3. Click the Reset StudioCloud Local Database button under the Local Database Options header
  4. A prompt will open up warning you that the data will be lost.  If you are sure you want to reset your database click the Yes button
  5. StudioCloud will then automatically quit.
