How to add a StudioCloud calendar to your website

Overview

This tutorial explains how to add a StudioCloud read only calendar to your website by way of Google Calendar or using a free third party calendar program

Limitations

StudioCloud does not currently provide a day, month, year view of your calendar that can be embedded in your website. However, using Google Calendar's you can achieve this.

Step 1: Get the ICS link (special web link) for your Calendar

The first step needed to set this up is to get a web link, called an ICS link, in StudioCloud for your calendar. You can get a link for your entire calendar or a link for just a subset of your calendar.

Step 2: Add the ICS link to Google Calendar

Below are instructions on how to add the StudioCloud link to Google Calendar

  • Open Google Calendar.
  • On the left side, find Other calendars and click the down arrow .
  • Select Add by URL.
  • Copy and paste the ICS link in StudioCloud into the calendar's address in the field provided.
  • Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under Other calendars.
