How To Reset The Database For Free Accounts
Overview
This tutorial explains how a free account can reset their database
Step 1: Restart ComputerBefore going though the hassle of resetting a database StudioCloud recommends restarting your computer to see if the issue can be resolved that way. Step 2: Send Backup To StudioCloud Support From The Login PageTo make sure that you don't experience any data loss during the reset do the following steps: - Click on the Need Help? button at the bottom of the screen
- Click the Technical Support button
- Click on the Send Backup To StudioCloud Support button
- Click the Upload Backup Button
Step 2: Send Backup To StudioCloud Support After Logging InTo make sure that you don't experience any data loss during the reset do the following steps: - Click on the Actions button at the bottom of the screen
- Click on the Support menu option
- Previously this menu was called the Other menu option. If you don't see a Support menu option look under the Other menu option.
- Click the Technical Support button to open the Technical Support Window
- Click on the Send Backup To StudioCloud Support button
- Click the Upload Backup Button
Step 3: Reset the Database To reset the database do the following steps. - From the Technical Support Window click on the Reset StudioCloud Local Database button
- Refer to the steps above on how to open the Technical Support button
- Reopen StudioCloud and login
Step 4: Verify the information is accurateIf, after logging in, you notice that you are missing information that you need you will need to contact support to have them manually process your database. Please note that you will need to have a paid subscription. Subscriptions start at $10 per month and you can cancel at anytime.
