How To Find Your Monitor Resolution

Overview

StudioCloud supports monitor resolution sizes of 1024x768 and larger. If you have a monitor resolution set to display a size smaller then 1024x768 you will not be able to see all of the buttons in StudioCloud. This tutorial explains how to detect what monitor resolution your computer is set to.

Instructions

  • Mac OS X 10.5.8 and greater
    • Click on the Apple icon in the top right
    • Click on System Preferences
    • Click on the Displays icon
    • Your resolution will be highlighted in the "Resolutions" table.
  • Windows XP
    • Go to control panels
    • Double click on the display icon
    • Click on the settings tab
    • Your resolution will be displayed in the "Screen resolution" box
  • Windows Vista
    • Click Start
    • Click Control Panel
    • Click "Appearance and Personalization."
    • Click "Personalization."
    • Click "Display Settings."
    • Your resolution will be displayed in the "Resolution" box.
  • Windows 7
    • Go to control panels
    • click on the Display icon
    • click on the "Adjust resolution" text
    • Your resolution will be displayed in the "Resolution" combo box.
