Uploading Albums Process

StudioCloud CloudProofing allows photographers to import individual images or a folder of images to be uploaded to an album for clients to view and purchase images online. All uploaded images are copies of the original image. The original image is never altered in the uploading process.

How To Open The Upload Images and Music Window For A New Album

  1. Create new album
  2. Enter in the album and event information
  3. Click the Save button
  4. The Upload Images window will appear after you click the save button

How To Open The Upload Images and Music Window For An Existing Album

  1. Edit an existing album
  2. Click the Actions tab
  3. Click the Upload Images and Music button

How Is The Upload Images And Music Window Organized

The upload Images and Music window is divided into four sections.

  • Section: Image Size
    • Usage: This option allows you to select the desired image size. In addition, there is a sample button next to the image size that shows an example of each size.
  • Section: Upload Images
    • Usage: This option allows you to select either an individual image or a folder of images. The supported image formats are JPEG, GIF, and PNG.
  • Section: Upload Music
    • Usage: This option allows you to select music. The supported image format is MP3.
  • Section: Watermark Options
    • Usage: This option contains the watermark settings.

How To Use Upload Images Section

  • How to import an image
    • To upload an image select the "Import Individual Images" option under the Import Images menu.
  • How to import multiple images
    • To upload multiple images select the "Import a Folder of Images" option under the Import Images menu.
  • How to remove an Image from the list
    • To remove one image from the list click the delete icon in the table.
  • How to remove multiple images from the list
    • To remove multiple images from the list select the desired images either manually or by using the Select All group operation and then click the "Remove Selected Images" under group operations
  • How to rotate images
    • Some cameras take images and, rather then rotating the actual image, add a note to the image meta-data saying that the image needs to be rotated. To rotate the image select the desired images and click the Rotate Images option under group operations
  • How to change the folder name
    • Select the desired images and select the option "Rename Folders for Selected Images" under Folder Options
  • How to change the folder thumbnail
    • Click the Assign As Folder Thumbnail button in the table to make that image the folder thumbnail
  • How to assign multiple folder thumbnails at once
    • Select the desired images and select the option "Make Selected Images The Folder Thumbnail"
  • How to view a thumbnail of the image after it is imported
    • Select the Show Image thumbnails in the bottom left of the screen to view a thumbnail of the image
